Course Description
Acupuncture is an effective and safe non-opioid option for pediatric pain management that can be used easily in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

About the Instructor
Dr. Krystal Plonski, ND, LAc, EAMP, FABNP is a Licensed and Board Certified Pediatric Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist in Seattle, WA. Dr. Plonski graduated with her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program from Bastyr University in 2014. Following graduation, Dr. Plonski completed a 2-year accredited CNME Naturopathic pediatric residency in 2016. Over the years she has practiced combining pediatric Naturopathic Primary Care and Acupuncture and is currently working at Seattle Children’s Hospital Pain Medicine Department as a pediatric inpatient pain acupuncturist. Her philosophy of medicine is deeply rooted in the intersection of conventional pediatric standard of care and evidence-based integrative therapeutics.
